For ages 2 to 7 years.  Includes stories, songs, crafts, and puppetry, and science.

Cost: $8 per child or $20 per family for all 10 weeks, or $2 per day/child, $5/family weekly. Theme is People I Might Mett "Around the Block"

Once a Week Summer Classes

Make Your Own Picture Book  

Four days: Monday -Thursday June 3 - June 6 2019

9 am - 12 noon

For ages 8 to 15 years.  Learn how to write, organize, and add artwork to a story.  Children will write and illustrate their own original story book.  Presentation for family on Thursday, June 6th.

3-5 Day Summer Camps

Art Exploration Camps 2019

Four days: Monday -Thursday

June 17 - August 1, 2019


For ages 5 to 15 years.  Art, Music, Crafts, Theatre, puppetry and science. Different themes are offered each session. Each week ends with a class presentation

Theatre Camps 2019

(Elementary and Intermediate)

Sign up for one of 2 different weeks of camp

Session #1: Monday-Friday, June 24 - June 28. There will be a final performance on Friday afternoon.

Two different age groups: 

Grades 1-3 meet 9 -11 am, Cost is $35

Grades 4 and up bring a sack lunch and meet 11 am-3 pm. Cost is $65

Session #2: Thursday - Saturday, July 25- 27

9 am - 2 pm.

Puppets on Parade 

Monday - Friday July 15 - 19, 2019

9am-2pm (Bring a lunch)

For 4th - 12th graders.  Musical theater and puppetry are combined for a week of fun, culminating in a final performance on Friday. Students learn about different puppet typas and also make their own puppet. Limited enrollment for 4-12th grade.

Ongoing Teen Programs

Pay it Forward: Youth in Action  

Wednesdays year round

3:45 - 5 pm 

Youth ages 12-15 years old.  Pay it Forward s a volunteer group for youth.  Teens meet weekly and participate in a variety of activities that gives them a chance to help others.  Several meetings throughout the year focus on planning, where the teens get to be involved in deciding on and planning service opportunities.

Improv Faction  

Now meeting monthly on Friday evenings 7-8:30 pm during the school year - check back for May and summer dates. 

Ages 9th grade and up.  Try your hand at improvisation in a fun, supportive atmosphere.  The Improv Faction group periodically has the opportunity to perform for special community programs.  The sessions are moderated by Bruce Baird, with over 6 years of improv experience.  He will help students learn and develop poise, wit, humor, ad-libbing, and characterization skills on stage.

Nature Camp @ Bear River Bird Refuge  

Five days: Monday -Friday

June 10 - June 14, 2019


For ages 8 to 15 years.  

"Birds - From Small to Tall" Held at the James V. Hansen Wildlife Education Center (Bear River Bird Refuge) just West of Brigham City: 2155 West Forest Street. Enjoy a week of nature walks, hands-on learning, writing, drawing, sculpting, crafts and exploring in this combined nature and art camp. Program for parents on Friday afternoon. Please register and pay in advance at the Fine Arts Center.

Girls ages 12-16  

Come learn shopping on a budget, best clothes for your body type, dressing for success and how to be prepared for job interviews. Also includes social and business etiquette and expert hair and skin care tips. Ends with a Style Show for family and friends. Teacher: Barbara Findley.

Garage Band 102:  

Tuesday - Friday July 9 - 12, 2019 and Monday -Thursday, July 15-18. Ages 14-18


This year's Garage Band program will emphasize rock and roll music. Teens ages 14-18 interested in the art of creating a band are invited to join in this two-week, 9 day adventure under the direction of Mike Reeder, who has taken several workshops on initiating youth bands. Proficiency with a musical instrument is helpful but not a prerequisite. They will be using acoustic, electric and bass guitars, drum, vocal, piano, and keyboard as well as other instruments. Students need to be committed to attending all eight sessions and a final performance schedule for Thursday evening, July 18.
