FRIDAY July 11, 2014-
    Come and see the culmination of a week of puppet camp for  a little bit of a music variety show and "The Adventures of the Hero Club". Shows are still tentative fro 4 and 7 pm.  Better yet- youth ( and adults) are welcome to join us for a week of puppet camp 9 to 2 pm  Monday thru Friday ( July 7-11).

    

                                      
 
 
 The museum will be open through 4pm with a Punch and Judy show at 2pm and various puppet making and puppet play activities.

We held "Puppets in the Park"  Saturday July 27.
              
 Special thanks to a great array of puppeteers, we had a great time.   Due to rain the shows were all held at the Fine Arts Center.  Next year we look forward to  joining forces with the Puppetry Arts Guild of Utah and having a bowery reserved!!!  Watch for more puppet shows with the World of Puppetry Museum the first Saturday of each month.  August 3rd we will celebrate with a few simple tales  and  Fables  at 11 am.  Cost is a donation of  $2 per person or $5 per family. 
 
World of Puppetry Museum - the museum is open the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month 1 pm to 4 pm. and by appointment.   It  provides self guided and staff guided museum tours as an introduction to the many varieties of puppets from 15 different countries and a variety of eras.  This is a colorful eye-catching collection of puppets with several hands on activities. Tours can include a 10-15 Punch and Judy Show.  Monthly on the first Saturday of the month a  30 minute formal puppet show is also offered.

World of Puppetry in house Puppet shows: Watch for more information on puppet shows planned for the first Saturday of the month during the Sept- May school year.
 
Puppet Making Workshops: At the Fine Arts Center or at  other sites as requested.
 
Puppet story time for preschoolers: This program is offered the second Friday of the month September thru May from 9:30 to about 10:30 am.  Geared to 3-5 year olds , children get to interact in puppet play and see puppet stories and a few formal shows.  The puppet hour includes a small puppet craft.  A donation of $1 per child suggested for those who make a craft.  Siblings welcome,
