PROGRAM REVIEWS

WORLD OF PUPPETRY MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE:

The World of Puppetry Museum Open House with  guest puppeteer on Friday January 27 was  an amazing success.  Special thanks to the Brigham City Olympic Legacy fund for helping to sponsor  FREDDIE THE STRINGMAN SPENCER.

TRUE HEARTS AND SILVER DREAMS, a melodrama written and directed by Geri Garfield  with help from her daughter DeeAnn nichols,  featured Richelle Sutton as Madam Fortuna, Dallin Richards as Sly Sylvester, Bonnie Richardson as Grace Trueheart, Caden Bradbury as Crazy Joe, Mary Richardson as Violet Trueheart and Matthew Payne as hero J.D. Justice in the melodrama performed Saturday September 10, 2011.  With a lot of boo and hissing , some ineptness on the part of the villain, and determination on the part of J.D. Justice,  good prevails and all ends well.

Puppets in the Park was also a great success with well over 130 people joining us for the outdoor puppet performances.

FROM SHOE TO ZOO presented by Puppets in the Park participants from the Fine Arts Center drew crowds for both performances in Pioneer Park this past summer. it was great summer fun for families as students of the Fine Arts Center presented “From Shoe to Zoo” as the completion of the annual Puppets in the Park camp, with crowds gathering for afternoon and evening performances at Pioneer Park. The program was sponsored by Box Elder County Tourism and the Marie Eccles Caine Foundation, Russell Family.
