Summer Art Camps for 2015
at the Fine Arts Center
We offer a wide range of activities, watch newspapers or website for additional Wednesday and Saturday offerings still being arranged.  Students can be pre-registered by phone  435-723-0740 or you can contact us by e-mail for questions OR you can now use the registration links below.  

Download and Print Registration form.  Along  with registration links below, we need a new registration form filled out for your family/child each year in June. These will be at the Fine Arts Center when you first bring your student in for a camp or to save time  you can down load the family/child registration  form,  fill in the information, sign and bring it or send it with  your student(s)  Only one form needed per family.

Youth Drawing: Here's a fun time and place to learn and practice basics  and more advanced techniques.
Review shapes, shading, and composition and all the things that make drawing better and more fun. Offered Monday through Thursday July 20-23 9:30 to 11:30 am.  $30 includes materials. Instructor Sierra Thornley. Please call 435-723-0740 or email to register for this class. Space is limited pre-registration requested.  

Expressive Figure and Portrait Drawing:
This is a new adult class for ages 16 yrs. and older announced for summer. It will be taught by noted artist Adrian VanSuchtelen. It will be offered Monday - Friday, July 27-31, 9 am to 12 noon. Cost is $150 per person with senior discounts available. Pre-registration required- email us at or call 435-723-0740 or use registration link  below

Story Hours:
Wednesdays for 10 weeks, June 10 through August 12. For ages 3 - 7 years, 10 am to 11 am. Includes stories, songs, crafts, and puppetry. Registration is $10 per child or $25 per family for all 10 .Want to join in later in the summer?   Cost is $2 per day per child.

Art Exploration Camps:   (4 days in one week) Mon., Tues., Thurs., Fri. - 9 am to 2 pm. for ages 5 to 14 years. Different themes are offered each session. Here is a chance for students to enjoy a little bit of a wide variety of the arts and even tie in science.  Each day includes  Art, Music, Crafts, Theatre, Puppetry, Drawing  and Science with their own aged base group and camp counselor/leader .  Cost is $60 per student per session, family discounts and scholarships available. Each week also ends with class presentations the last half hour.
Camp sessions still available are
Session #2 - July 13,14, 16, & 17 - “Fantasy and Fairy Tale Fun” theme- full
Session #3 - August 3, 4, 6, & 7 – “Orient Express” theme- looking at Chinese and oriental culture and art.

Theatre camps: (Elementary and Intermediate) Sign up for one of 2 different weeks of camp - Instructor  is Ashley Pyle  Session #1   was Monday through Friday, June 22 - June 26. We are still registering for July: 

Session #2: Monday through Thursday, July 20-23 - 4-day Theatre camp: (geared to  ages 10 and up), 9 am - 2 pm, $55.
Sessions will end with a final performance on Thursday  afternoon, July 23.

Puppets on Parade: Musical theater and puppetry are combined for a week of fun culminating Friday in a formal show at 2 pm and tentatively 6 pm. Scheduled for July 6 through 10. Class meets 9 to 2 pm. Dance, music, live acting and puppet making and puppetry performance  are included. Limited enrollment for 4-12th grade. Cost is $55 for the week.
