Spring After School Classes

            Parent Information on Spring After School Classes:

Wasatch Children’s Choir: Is scheduled to meet weekly through May 11.  Their final performance is set for  Monday May 4th at 5:15 pm
               Students will meet to practice ( and warm up)  at their regular time on the 4th, have a brief snack before performing for family and friends at 5:15 pm 
               They will have a choir party and one last singing time on Monday May 11 from 4-5 pm
The Master Artist class will continue 4-5 pm  through May 12.

Elementary Theater-  students had  a note sent home.  Please call for any questions about costumes they will meet 4-5 pm on Tuesday April 21
              They will take a brief break, have a snack,  and perform "Click,Clack Moo" for family and friends
 at 5:30 pm Tuesday 4,21, 2015

Elementary Drawing- Continues Wednesdays  3-4 pm through the 13th of  May
Intermediate Theater-Students meet  3:30 -5:30  pm for rehearsal - They will have a brief break and snack and  perform "To Oz and Back"  for 
                family and friends  that day Thursday April 23, 2015  planned for  5:45 pm. to 6:15 pm
Puppetry class - Cancelled /postponed this week.  Final performance tentatively set for April  30th about 5 or 5:30 pm.

Parents are welcome to ask about our sliding scale and scholarship program for all youth classes. Please ask for Susan or Linda. Our goal is to not leave any child out because of financial issues.

Intermediate Theater
   Thursdays, 4-5:30 pm,    $65  for 12 weeks,
Master Artist Class:
                   Learn about Master Artists and explore their art through art projects 
Tuesdays 4-5:15 pm  for grades 1-5  Instructor:  Linda Lowe
                    Starts Jan 20,     2nd session starts March 17
                  $40 each session (8 weeks) -   discount if you sign up for both sessions
                This class will cover the Elements of Design and how they relate to drawing.
                Wednesdays: 3-4 pm for grades 3-5,    Instructor:  Linda Lowe
                Starts Jan 21,     2nd session starts March 18, 
                $40 each session (8 weeks) -  discount if you sign up for both sessions
                  Thursdays, 4:-5:30 pm.  Instructor:  Susan Neidert,    $40   for 8 weeks
                 Design and make your own puppet.  Finish with a performance.
Style 2014: 
            Tuesdays  4-5 pm.  Annually in  January   (8 weeks) for girls 
              grades 6-8.  Learn etiquette and poise in any situation, personal
             color analysis and how to be stylish on a budget.. 
            Ends with a fashion show. Instructor:  Barbara Findley  $45

Pay it Forward:  
    Wednesdays 4-5 pm. Meets weekly per month, 3-4 service
              projects per month. plus  additional service activities.  
                Year Round program- different hours in summer
       Youth service group, for ages 12-16, no fee. 

Improv Faction: 

    Meets weekly- currently Thursdays  5-6  p.m., Meets year
             round, ninth grade and up. Improvisational games and
            instruction with Sebastian Smith.  No fee.

Tanner Creative Dance: 

    Wednesdays, 3pm, grades K-2,

        Family Theatre-  "Creative Stage"
Creative Stage is the name of our new Evening theater programs develped to provide theater by and for families as well as community theater by youth and emerging artists. This will include FACE as listed below. The 2014-2015 series ends with:
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged.
       March 27, 28, and 30 at 7:30pm $5 per ticket
Annie Jr.
      May 7,8, 9, and 11 at 7:30 pm  and matinee May 9 2pm
F.A.C.E.  Theatre Workshop for High School Students,For 9th grade and up- please let us know now if you are interested.  Thursdays  7-9 pm     $25 per season or pledge toward ticket sales.  Look for December thru February programming.

Pre-School Puppet Story Time:   

    Second Friday of the month through May from 9:30 to 10:30 am,

        for 3 to 5 year olds accompanied by an adult; siblings welcome. 

        Includes stories, songs and a craft project, 

        suggested $1 donation per child

Mommy and Me Monthly Music Time:

    4th Wednesdays,  9:30 - 10:30 am    

        suggested $1 donation per child

World of Puppetry Museum:

   1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month 1:00-4:00 pm and by appointment 

         Presentations with Traveling exhibit also available

Open Mic Night:  

    Open Mic is held once a month on Saturdays.  Doors open at 7 pm.
