  • Audition Song

Make sure your song is between 2-3 minutes long and showcases your voice. Please choose a song from a Broadway Musical, however we want to hear you SING, not rap, not yodel, etc. (A rap song from Hamilton is not an appropriate audition song.) If you are currently working with one of the directors in another show, plese do not sing a song from that show, showcase your voice in a different way.

  • Special Talents

What special talents do you have? Nothing is too small, and it doesn't necessarily need to be theatre-related. Some ideas are juggling, choreographing a dance, writing a monologue and performing it, baking cookies, stand-up comedy skit, piano playing (or any musical instrument), etc. Show us what makes you, YOU!

  • How Should I Send My Audition

When you record your audition make sure you record it Horizontally. Make sure you are in a well-lit area, with little to no background noise. When you send in videos, you may send them in separately (a separate video for your talent and monologues) or you may put them all together using an app or software.

If you would prefer to audition in person, or are not able to record an audition, you may audition in Person on May 11 between 4:00 and 6:30

We all know that theatre kids have a reputation for being a bit… off the wall at times. Well this season of Apollo, the Apollo Theatre Company will put on a showcase that ensures they're not the only ones bursting into song and dancing down the aisles at the grocery store! Members of Apollo will grow their knowledge of Musical Theatre and build upon their Singing, Dancing, and Acting. With a set list of some extremely high energy songs from some of their favorite musicals Revenge Party(Mean Girls), Revolting Children(Matilda), Seize The Day(Newsies), and much more! Including instruction from many guest choreographers. This Summer Season, the Apollo Theatre Company will be taking a retreat to Bear Lake! More details to come! Traditionally rehearsals are Monday and Thursday from 5-7, but a schedule is based upon availability of the performers. Performances will be held the first OR second week of August.
