"Free Checking & Free Gives" program.

When you open a Free Checking Account with First Community Bank you'll receive a $25 donation token.  The best part?  You get to choose where it goes!  The Fine Arts Center is included as one of the bank-sponsored charities, making it easier than ever to support the arts and nurture creativity in our community.

Kents Market

Kents Market's generosity is more than just a donation;  it's an investment in the arts, in education, and in the future of our community.  The $5,000 gift will pave the way for enhanced art, music, theatre and puppetry classes, programs - including theatre and music, and invaluable scholarships, specifically reaching low-income and at-risk youth and teens.

Thank you Kents for being a "Note-worthy Donor"!

Vulcraft Utah and Nucor Steel Building group

As Part of Nucor Steel,  these two  community minded company entities  have been  great  supporters of the Fine Arts Center over the years.   They helped the Fine Arts Center turn an old storage shed into a very usable storage garage when it was first starting up.  They provided muscle power for a  window rebuild project several years ago and are now again offering their support as we  look at ways to grow and use the neighboring property to better meet the growing art  needs of the community. . . Their combined $10K gift at this time will make a big difference.

ART-TELL 2024

We had another great ART-TELL this year with 30 entries on our youth contest  and  33 entries in the Adult Themed contest.  Our theme this year was "My Imagination"

Letter from the Executive Director’s desk:

Hello friends of the Fine Arts Center!

April is here and along with it our annual ART-TELL Celebration.  You are not going to want to miss out on this special week where art tells and story and storytelling is an art.  As part of the week we have some great activities and events including an art show for youth, an art show for Adults and High School students, and a concert by Lyric Jay.  We will also be celebrating the donation of the building and land south of our existing building.  This marks a significant milestone in our expansion project to add more class rooms, a new puppet museum and enhance our theater space.  We will hope you will join us for any or all of these special events and be part of "Empowering Lives through the Arts".

Warm regards,

Susan Neidert,

Interim Executive Director & Founder

"Fairytale Theatre" Play

April 25 - 27,  $2 for ages 3-11,  $4 for 12+

On April 11, 2024, we acknowledged the significant  donation of the neighboring old Tithing Building by the Larsen Family to the Brigham City Fine Arts Council. We shook hands with them and thanked them for the gift.  We thank the local legislators and government officials who have been offering their encouragement and were able to attend: Box Elder Commissioner Lee Perry, State Senator Scott Sandall, and State Representative Tom Peterson.  AND we thank all those who were able to come out to help us celebrate.

Some of our high school age students stood up and talked about the hope and encouragement the Fine Arts Center’s current theatre program has given them and teen theatre student Wyatt McCarty sang for us. Taylor Olsen who has also been grateful the Fine Arts Center Open Mic program sang a teaser for the concert planned the next day. The Fine Arts Center Board Chair, Jared Turner, gave a brief review on the Tithing Building and property and its future role. The Fine Arts Center is going on 25 years this May and there are many, many people to thank for making "Building for our Future " possible. . . more info to come.
